Anna Calluori Holcombe works to capture the arcane qualities of everyday mundane objects. She challenges our perception of these simple objects at once making them more important and more accessible.

Her residency will afford her the opportunity to continue this work and to have an exchange of ideas and techniques not only with artists from Hungary, but with artists from all over the world. She will experiment with Hungarian clay bodies, glazes and slip techniques to produce a series of work that will include both wall pieces and free standing works.
