My aim is not to focus on appearance, but rather to make the structure and growth of nature understandable, so you can then develop your own personal style from them.
In my creative work, I follow iterations of a single chosen pattern to build an object: I repeat this over and over again, adapting it to different spatial directions. The symmetry of the size ranges is also embodied in the self-similar pattern. As the form adapts to the space I imagine, its volume changes. With this simple method, a variety of complex forms can be created.
Working with material is much more than the optical perception and visualization of natural phenomena. Through our knowledge of our inner self, the result of our creation can go beyond the image of its physical phenomenon. This visible internalization, internalization can lead to a series of thoughts and actions that can also be called metaphysical, in which the optical and physical connection with the other material can create a resonant relationship that goes beyond the senses. We can also call this inner vision.
For this purpose, we'll also use Karl Bloosfeldt's book with its photographic enlargements. These offer the opportunity to show "unadulterated" nature.
The workshop language will be English.

Ez a láttató internalizáció, bensővé tétel átvezethet egy metafizikainak is nevezhető gondolati és cselekvéssorozatba, amelyben az optikai és fizikális kapcsolat a másik anyaggal az érzékszerveken túlmutató, rezonáns viszonyt hozhat létre. Although all forms are built in the same system, changing certain factors, such as the form of the repeating element, the plastic training of the base, the shaping of spatial directions — always creates a new object quality. My creative intention is to display the internal properties inherent in the micro-dimensions of the clay mineral in macro-dimensions, and to embed these properties in a kind of fractal geometric system. The clay mineral is suitable for modelling tail bowl formations, and in such a way that it also reflects the nonlinear dynamics and unstable movement of its own internal structure in the created forms.
Zsuzsa Füzesi (1953, Nagymányok): She graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts (now MOME) in porcelain design, and during her studies she also worked with design and architectural ceramics. She received her doctorate from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs. She participated in the National Ceramics Biennial three times, winning third place at the 12th, a special prize at the 13th, and first prize at the 14th. Her works can also be found in public collections such as the Art of Woman Museum, Washington.
Füzesi Zsuzsa (1953, Nagymányok): A Magyar Iparművészeti Főiskola (ma MOME) porcelántervező szakán végzett, tanulmányai során designnal és építészeti kerámiával is foglalkozott. Doktoriát a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Művészeti Karán szerezte meg. Háromszor vett részt az Országos Kerámia Biennálén, XII-en harmadik a XIII-on különdíjjal a XIV-en pedig első díjjal honorálták. Művei olyan közgyűjteményekben is megtalálhatók, mint az Art of Woman Museum, Washington.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 200,000 huf. is required within 14 days to secure your place on the course.
EARLYBIRD BOOKING
Pay the 200,000 HUF deposit when you book to guarantee your place on a course. You will be sent payment information by email.
Pay the remaining balance of the course fee by the EarlyBird date for your course then you will pay the discount EarlyBird fee.
If you pay the balance after the EarlyBird date then you will pay the full price course fee.
Any remaining balance may either be paid in advance or in cash on arrival at the studio.

We have a limited number of rooms with private shower and WC at a supplement cost of 24,000 huf.
PLEASE NOTE: All course fees include accommodation but there is an additional charge of 400 huf per day city tax.

REFUND POLICY
Participants may have 50% of the deposit refunded provided that we are notified 30 days before the start of the course. No refunds of deposits can be made after this deadline.
If we have to replace the course leader for any reason we guarantee the course will be held by a teacher of similar qualification. You may choose to participate in the course or transfer the deposit to another course of your choice. If none of these options are to your satisfaction your full deposit will be refunded.
We cannot reimburse any travel costs you may have incurred. Please make sure you have travel insurance to cover cancellation.
PREPARATION FOR THE COURSE
Participants should bring with them their small personal hand tools. Remember to pack them in your stowed luggage not in hand luggage for flying.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is in single bedrooms with shared bathroom and WC. Rooms are simply furnished with bed, desk, chairs, wardrobe and cupboard and supplied with clean bed-linen, pillows and towels. Artists have the use of modern, fully equipped kitchens with shared refrigerators, cookers and microwave ovens. All cups, plates, cooking pots, saucepans and cutlery is provided. There are spacious lounges and dining rooms. All accommodation is self catering.
We have a limited number of single en-suite rooms with their own shower and WC. If you require a single room with a private bathroom there is a supplement cost of 24,000 HUF for the course.
We have an extensive library of ceramic books and magazines as well as other art publications. There is wi-fi internet access in most areas. There is also a laundry facility with washers and dryer.
CONDITIONS
All participants must be insured for medical and personal liability for the duration of their masterclass at ICS.
For EU citzens - please bring your EU Healthcard.
We reserve the right to document and publish images of the course and participants and the works of the artist in publications or on the ICS website.
ICS cannot offer storage for any artist’s works after the masterclass is completed.
EVENING WORKING
The studios will be available if you wish to continue making items, though these sessions will not be taught. Additional materials to those provided by the course may be purchased from the technicians.
The tutor instructs students in health and safety issues relevant to this course. Students may work unsupervised on agreed projects once they have satisfied the tutor as to their competence. There may be restrictions on the equipment available to students in the tutor’s absence.
FIZETÉS

SZÁLLÁSHELY
A szállás egyágyas szobákban történik, közös fürdőszobával és WC-vel. A szobák egyszerűen berendezettek, ágy, íróasztal, szék és szekrény található bennük. Tiszta ágyneművel, párnákkal és törölközőkkel felszerelt. Modern, teljesen felszerelt konyhát használhatnak, közös hűtőszekrénnyel, tűzhelyekkel és mikrohullámú sütőkkel. Minden poharat, tányért, főzőedényt, serpenyőt és evőeszközt biztosítunk. Tágas társalgók és étkezők állnak rendelkezésre. Az étkezés önellátás alapú!
Korlátozott számú egyágyas, saját zuhanyzóval és WC-vel ellátott fürdőszobás szobával rendelkezünk. Ha privát, egyágyas szobára van szüksége, akkor 24.000 Ft felárat kell fizetnie a tanfolyamért.
Kiterjedt könyvtárunkban kerámia könyvek és folyóiratok, valamint egyéb művészeti kiadványok találhatók. A legtöbb helyiségben wi-fi internet-hozzáférés áll rendelkezésre. Rendelkezésére áll egy mosógépekkel és szárítóval felszerelt mosókonyha is.
FELTÉTELEK
A munkaidőszak alatt az NKS dokumentálhatja és publikálhatja a művész munkáját kiadványokban vagy az NKS honlapján.
A mesterkurzus befejezése után az NKS nem tudja biztosítani a művész munkáinak tárolását.
Jelentkezésével hozzájárul és elfogadja a fent említett feltételeket.
ESTI MUNKA
A műterem rendelkezésre áll, ha továbbra is szeretne tárgyakat készíteni, bár ekkor már nem feltétlen lesz jelen az oktató. A tanfolyam által biztosított anyagokon felül további anyagok vásárolhatóak saját költségre a technikusoktól.
Az oktató tájékoztatja a tanulókat a tanfolyam szempontjából fontos egészségügyi és biztonsági kérdésekben. A hallgatók felügyelet nélkül dolgozhatnak a megbeszélt projekteken, miután a tanárok meggyőződtek a kompetenciájukról. Az oktató távollétében a hallgatók rendelkezésére álló felszereléseket korlátozhatják.
